Attendees at the latest Donald Trump rally in Iowa, were entertained yesterday by failed VP candidate Sarah Palin, who unexpectedly clambered onto the stage and launched into one of her trademark word salad speeches. Although not entirely clear about why she was there, the fallen reality TV star made up for her long winded chatter by her obvious enthusiasm.
People in the audience waited anxiously for an exasperated Trump to step in and reclaim the microphone as Palin misquoted the candidate’s slogan as “Take America Nyuck”, a line that political observers attributed to The Three Stooges.
Even Fox News, which at one time had a brief contractual arrangement with the half term Alaska governor, ran a byline at the bottom of viewers screens pointing out that Mrs Palin’s speeches are obviously “written by a cage full of chimpanzees with a bucket of Scrabble tiles”.
